Meet Keenan
Read this short interview with Keenan Cawley to get to know him better.
ST.com: How old are you Keenan?
Keenan: I am 17 years old.
ST.com: Where were you born?
Keenan: New Haven, Connecticut
ST.com: OK, so how did you come to be in Stowe?
Keenan: My pops and ma used to live here in the 80's...and I guess they wanted to come back or something!
ST.com: How has moving to Stowe changed you?
Keenan: Moving to Stowe was the best thing to ever happen to me! Now I'm always active, always having the best time, and always repping a huge smile! Not too much to be bummed about here!
ST.com: Since these are the last days of high school for you, what are your plans for next year?
Keenan: I’ll probably go to Sierra Nevada College. I’m going to try to pursue both an education and snowboarding. Also, trying to meet Miley Cyrus.
ST.com: Tell us some of the things you love to do and what you like to read and listen to.
Keenan: I'm really into having fun! A lot of schralping on snow, trying to skateboard, posting up at the coffee house. You know, the usual! As for music, I listen to anything that hypes me up; Hyphy, Electronica, Miley Cyrus. I haven’t been reading that much recently, but I do dig Dr. Seuss. I try to keep up with whatever Oprah requests. She's on point.
ST.com: What's you favorite food and favorite color?
Keenan: Probably Hairbo Gummi Bears. Purple is a pretty good color.

So true! Eco rant all you want; I agree! The same thing at the school where I live, cars fill the parking lot. School buses that go by my house are not full. School buses make two routes to pick up kids at different times. Then there are the girls that get picked up by their boyfriend's parents. HUH? Aren't these parents paying taxes? Are they also complaining about school budgets? And if I have to pick up a young granddaughter at the school (because their parents are working)there are no parking places for visitors with that mission. Seems to be some global warming house cleaning is in order. You go, Keenan!
